Deadline extended for principal and assistant principal awards Print E-mail

The deadline to nominate an outstanding colleague for high school Principal of the Year, and high school or middle school Assistant Principal of the Year, has been extended.  Nominations are now due by Friday, December 8 for both awards.  Here are the details on each award:

  • 2007 Assistant Principal of the Year.  You may nominate either a high school or middle school assistant principal for this award.
  • 2007 Principal of the Year.  Nominees must be high school principals this year, since middle school principals are being recognized through the elementary association.  Next year, it will rotate to the secondary affiliate.

The applications for both awards may be found on the NASSP website: www.principals.org.  Click on “Awards” and it will lead you to the appropriate form.

Recipients of both awards will be honored at the OASSA/OESPA Winter Conference, January 15-17 in Salem.  If you have questions regarding the awards, contact COSA staff member Nancy Moen.
