Five new superintendents on the job on South Coast Print E-mail
New superintendents have started tenures at five South Coast districts this summer:

Diane Buche is the new superintendent in Bandon.  She was a teacher and principal in Myrtle Point, prior to serving as an elementary principal in Bandon last year.  She replaces Kenny Kent, who retired.

Jeff Davis is the new superintendent in Central Curry.  A former teacher and principal in Sherwood and Colton, this is his first superintendency.  Davis replaces interim Tom Denning, who continues as principal at Riley Creek Elementary.

Kent Klewitz is the new superintendent in Myrtle Point.  He taught in Bandon, and served as a principal in Cascade and Myrtle Point.  He replaces Robert Smith.

B.J. Hollensteiner is the new superintendent in North Bend.  She is a former Colton superintendent and North Santiam administrator, and also worked in Montana and Washington. Hollensteiner replaces interim Chuck Bugge.

Ruby Price is the new superintendent in Port Orford.  She was an administrator in Salem and a teacher in Central Howell (near Silverton).  This is her first superintendency.  Price replaces Dan Morin, who retired.
