NASSP Oregon Principal of the Year nominations sought Print E-mail

Is there a middle or high school principal in your district who is worthy of recognition?  The NASSP/MetLife Principal of the Year Award provides a great way to honor that outstanding colleague.  COSA is now seeking nominations for both middle and high school principals.

To encourage participation, COSA has again shortened the initial application  process.  Applicants should complete all parts of the form, except the three essay questions on “collaborative leadership,” “curriculum, instruction, and assessment,” and “personalization” for the first round of judging. Upon being selected as the Oregon winner, that person will then complete the questions to complete the application packet. This process allows colleagues to nominate someone without their knowledge.

Applications are available now by going to the awards section of the NASSP website.  Completed applications are due into the COSA office by Friday, April 3.  If you have questions regarding the nomination process, contact COSA staff member, Nancy Moen.
