Nominations sought for OACOA Achievement of Excellence Award Print E-mail

Is there a central office administrator in your district that deserves recognition for their outstanding work?  This is the time to nominate that person for the OACOA Achievement of Excellence Award, which is given to members who represent commitment to excellence in education.

To be eligible for consideration, the person must have completed five years in a supervisory position, and must be a current OACOA member.  Other considerations include professional accomplishments that have contributed significantly to the educational development of students and other staff.  That person should also exhibit professional development and growth through involvement in professional organizations and other activities.

Last year’s recipient was Ed Smith, Director of Curriculum of the Reynolds School District

The award winner will be honored in his/her home community, and also at the OASE/OACOA Conference in February, as well the COSA Seaside Conference in June.

Completed applications are due into the COSA office by Friday, November 10.  Any questions regarding the award should be directed to COSA staff member, Nancy Moen.
