ODE grant awarded to Parkrose, COSA; mentors needed for first-year superintendents and principals Print E-mail

COSA and Parkrose School District are pleased to announce we will be pairing mentors with both first-year superintendents and principals through a grant awarded this month by the Oregon Department of Education.

COSA and Parkrose are on a very tight timeline to recruit mentors for first-year superintendents and principals.  If you are interested, please complete and return this application by Sept. 26.

The Oregon Collaborative Administrator Mentoring Project (OCAMP) is a statewide collaboration of districts and partners whose goal is to ensure that Oregon schools have high-quality leaders who impact student achievement.  OCAMP will work with first-year principals and superintendents to implement research-based practices for increasing student learning, while developing a statewide mentor training and support network.  OCAMP will be inclusive of first-year principals and superintendents in Oregon.  For more information, please see the FAQs.

If you have questions, or would like to share names and contact information of potential candidates who would be excellent mentors, please contact Suzanne Dalton.
